Baptism This sacrament is usually celebrated during one of the parish liturgies. Preparation for this sacrament is required as well as registration in the parish and participation in weekly liturgy. Confirmation This sacrament is celebrated with students in grade ten or above. Preparation begins in the fall with two years of instruction on the sacrament. Attendance in grades 1–8 are also required and important for faith development. Completion of two full years of Religion Education is a pre-requisite. Contact the parish office at least ten months in advance to begin marriage preparation. Generally there is a period of time during which couples prepare themselves to receive this sacrament. If either party has been previously married there is a required procedure that must be followed to obtain a Declaration of Freedom to marry again in the Catholic Church.
