Welcome! Thanks for visiting the St. Mark Goodrich website. St. Mark the Evangelist is truly a parish family; a community of faith seeking and celebrating God together.
St.Mark's is a Roman Catholic Church Community in Goodrich and the surrounding area. The beautiful spirit and caring love for one another that is encountered as soon as one steps in the door is indeed a tribute to all of the members of St. Mark.
Many people have commented that when time is taken to count the many blessings with which God has showered them, St. Mark's Parish Family is near the top of the list... their love, support and enthusiasm always come to mind and heart!
You can find us in the Southeast corner of Genesee County, in the Diocese of Lansing, Michigan (see map!). Goodrich is a small community, rural/suburban. Come visit us...we wait to welcome you with open hearts, open minds, and open doors!
Meet Sister Joan
Sister Joan May, the thirteenth of thirteen children in the May family, was born and raised on a farm in Portland, Michigan. She attended St. Patrick School, which was staffed by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Nazareth, Michigan. Having experienced God’s call to Religious Life, and inspired by her wonderful Sister-teachers, young Joan entered the Sisters of St. Joseph three months after graduating from St. Pat’s.
